FYI, normally, I don’t do things like this, but this article is out to ruin a woman’s career. Judy Mays is the pen name of a woman who has taught for 25 years and because some people got a bug up their tails, she’s getting grief for writing romance. I think it was Colleen Gleason that pointed out-a guy wouldn’t be getting this grief. Say he wrote thrillers about serial killers? Would he get grief? Nope. But since Judy writes about sex and love…

This is the kind of news I have to watch every day. Being that WNEP is really the only channel that has news you would not believe what other stories I have heard from them. When I first heard this on the news I knew I had to post it on facebook. Makes me ashamed that I live here. If you do not fit in a certain format then you are wrong. Regardless. The area has a set view on religion, sexual orientation, and how one should live their lives including raising children and so on. Me, I do not care if you are a purple dinosaur or whatever. We all are humans and have the right to write what we want. I support Judy 100 percent.

Basically the only other one does not really have much news on it. There was another but that went out of business. It never seems to amaze me what people will come up with next.
For goodness sake, what is wrong with these people?! I would like to know about the private live of these “journalists” because they probably have some interesting stuff in their backgrounds. To blast someone because they write erotic books makes no sense. Pornographic magazines have been readily available in this country for years. If you have premium cable, many of “the best shows on tv” contain graphic sexual content. People are so judgy. This is why I don’t tell people about all of the books I read. I still have people making stupid comments about the fact I read romance. I would never hear the end of it if I told them I read erotic. I am heading over to Judy’s website to show my support.
