We watched The Hill Have Eyes tonight.

This is the second horror flick I’ve watched this year that left a bad taste in my mouth.

Is it me or have horror flicks started to substitute gore for scare?  I don’t have a problem with blood.  Violence in movies doesn’t bother me.  I love going to haunted houses at Halloween.  But lately it seems instead of a movie that sends shivers down my spine and makes me think twice before turning off all the lines, I’m left watching something that just makes me glad I didn’t cook hamburger for dinner.

All gore, little suspense.  Sigh…what are the good scary movies lately?
