if I love Mrs. Giggles?

And I don’t just mean that she amuses me.  She does.  But I just flat out love reading her website.  I miss her blog.  I love seeing her post her opinions on blogs like Karen’s.

She’s hilarious.  She’s honest.  And some of her reviews… as uh… hmmm… harsh as they can be, are so dead on, it’s amazing.

Whether she loves or hates a book, I can tell by reading the review whether I’m going to love it or hate.  Half the time I love books that she has hated, sometimes I agree and sometimes I’m kind of… eh… over. Yet others, she has loved and I abhorred. 

I think part of the reason I love her so much is that those harsh reviews…particularly the ones I agree with… she can say something outloud that I decided long ago that I didn’t need to do.  I can hate a book just fine, but bringing that hate onto the web for all to see isn’t always the wisest move for an author.  So seeing somebody else who gets a book the same way I do is wonderful.

I guess if Mrs. G ever decides to get a group for fangirls going, I’ll join up.  Yes… that is now three people who I could actually almost go fangirl over.  😉
