Twelve bucks doesn’t add up to much.
One book…or maybe two, depending on where you buy it and what kind of book.
A couple of cappucinos or lattes.
Maybe one ticket to a movie and a large coke.
Twelve bucks. It isn’t a lot of money to some of us-or rather, it won’t get much for a lot of us, as we count pennies and conserve gas and clip coupons so we can get as much out of our money as we can. Twelve bucks won’t get us a whole lot.
But to some people, it can mean the start to a better life.
