Just the Sexiest Man Alive
by Julie James
Saw this book mentioned over at the Dear Author blog and when I saw in in the store, I decided to pick it up.
Definitely glad I did. It was fantastic. Read it in one afternoon, and now I’m wondering if I shouldn’t have slowed it down a little, just so I could draw out the enjoyment.
Once I finished the book, I hopped on over to Ms. James’ website and yay! She’s got another book coming out in March.
Just the Sexiest Man Alive is a fun book. It’s a contemporary and the focus of the story is the hero and the heroine. The heroine is a lawyer, the hero is an actor and she’s supposed to ‘coach’ him on how to act lawyer-ly in a legal thriller he’s getting ready to shoot.
It’s got some great humor and I really loved the writer’s way of telling the story.
So you want to know more?
I mean, none of us can ever have too many books to read, right? 😉
Keeping that in mind, here’s the blurb…
COOL. CALM. COLLECTED.
Nothing fazes Taylor Donovan. In the courtroom she never lets the opposition see her sweat. In her personal life, she never lets any man rattle her–not even her cheating ex-fiancé. So when she’s assigned to coach People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” for his role in his next big legal thriller, she refuses to fall for the Hollywood heartthrob’s charms. Even if he is the Jason Andrews.
CONFIDENT. FAMOUS. IRRESISTIBLE.
Jason Andrews is used to having women fall at his feet. When Taylor Donovan gives him the cold shoulder, he’s thrown for a loop. She’s unlike any other woman he’s ever met: uninterested in the limelight, seemingly immune to his advances, and shockingly capable of saying no to him. She’s the perfect challenge. And the more she rejects him, the more he begins to realize that she may just be his perfect match. . .
So, when you hit the bookstores, there’s another book to look for. 🙂
