Found this at Monkey Bear Reviews-a blog I found through a link on Karen Scott’s blog.
Since I’m bored, tired and stuck home with a sick kid, I figure this is a nice easy way to kill a blog post.

Which book has been on your shelves the longest?
Eek. Hard question-I guess the Bible my grandmother gave me when I was eight, or the few Little House on the Prairie books that haven’t fallen apart and been replaced.
~*~
What is your current read, your last read and the book you’ll read next?
Last: One of the Sherrilyn Kenyon books…maybe Sins of the Night???
Current: Death’s Daughter by Amber Benson
Next: Torn between Nora Roberts‘ Visions in White or another SK book.

What book did everyone like and you hated?
I’m not answering that. I’ve seen people get eviscerated by…ah…. groups of very avid fans for just not loving a book and since getting eviscerated is counterproductive to have a blog for promo and reader interaction…. *G* I plead the fifth.
~*~
Which book do you keep telling yourself you’ll read?
I’ve yet to read Twilight. I’m honestly just not that interested. I have it. I just can’t work up the interest.
~*~
Which book coming out in 2009 is top priority to read?
I’ve already read one of them… Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews *nyah nyah, I got it early* and Crystal Healer by SL Viehl *I wish I could get that one early*
~*~
Last page: read it first or wait ’til the end?
Depends on the book, the author, etc.
~*~
Acknowledgements: waste of ink and paper or interesting ?
Depends on the book, the author. I read them less than 10% of the time, probably, but when I do read them, they are generally interesting.
~*~
Which book character would you switch places with?
None. I love my life…why would I want to swap places with somebody else? I’m already living my HEA.
~*~
Which Authors do you want to read that you haven’t yet?
John Levitt-urban fantasy, and I’ve already got two of his books. Just need to read them. Linnea Sinclair. Have some of hers, too.
~*~
Which books are still on your shelf from when you were in school?
Nora Roberts‘ ENTRANCED, CHARMED & CAPTIVATED. HONEST ILLUSIONS.
Mercedes Lackey Most of her Valdemar books
Little House on the Prairie series
The Bible from my grandma that I mentioned up a few ?s back.
~*~
Which book has been with you to the most places?
Probably either SL Viehl’s Stardoc or Nora Roberts’ Honest Illusions.

Any “required reading” you hated in high school that wasn’t so bad ten years later?
If I was required to read it in high school, I’m not interested in looking it up now.
~*~
Stephen King or Anne Rice?
Stephen King
~*~
Used or brand new?
I’ll buy used if it’s an older book that I can’t find new, but generally, I try to buy new.
~*~
Have you ever seen a movie you liked better than the book?
The LOTR trilogy. I did read most of the books, but they were so dry, I ended up skimming more than anything else.
~*~
Who is the person whose book advice you’ll always take?
Uh…nobody’s. There are a few reviewers online that have tastes similar to mine and I’m more inclined to read the books if they liked them, but sometimes they have books that just don’t catch my attention at all. So there’s no one person who has book advice I’ll *always* take. I do tend to enjoy a lot of the books that Jane at Dear Author enjoys. A lot, but not all.

Recommend a series/ or book:
Sl Viehl’s Stardoc books. Can’t recommend them enough.
