15:10 some will look at it and realize it’s NOT going to profit the,m but they are willing to pay to see book in print. that’s cool. #
15:11 but what about the ‘not’ savvy writer? The newbie that ends up on e Harl’s site and sees the shiny links to HHz. #
15:11 They got to HHz, and read about how getting their work ‘printed’ by this pub ‘proves’ they are a serious author. #
15:12 They read about how their books will available at bn.com, amazon, the kindle. #
15:12 they read about all the special packages. Then they call the number… and I won’t say where I got the info, but the number? #
15:13 One person was told by putting their book in print, it would be read by editors at Random House, Harper Collins. #
15:14 AND… if these authors may receive offers from these trad pubs. #
15:14 They are selling stardust. At a very high premium. And while there is NO subsitute for research and homework and leanring the biz… #
15:15 there is also no excuse for exploiting somebody because they have a dream. #
15:16 Being told their book will be in the hands of trad. editors? #
