At least not all of it.  And since I’m in dire need of cheering myself up… I’m going to torment people.

What is it? And because I figure I haven’t done a contest in a while… whoever guesses get a prize.  I’m not sure what… I think I’ve still got a goody bag laying around here from one of the cons, with books and stuff.  Maybe that-maybe something else.  If more than one person guesses, we’ll just do a draw.  *FYI, if it’s an international reader, I’m going to sub in a gift certificate (amazon or Samhain/My Bookstore and More)-mailing that bag would cost my left kidney and I’m not up to any more surgeries, especially not to cover postage. O.o  It’s scary, and that’s one heavy bag.

So… what is it?

  19. Hmm it does just look like a pillowy soft cloud with a hint of blue sky but surely not so easy.

    I’m in agreement with Robyn K about mist/fog on the ground with the hero rising out of it. Kinda like the bottom of Hunters Need.

  21. Gosh this is hard! It could be anything from a cloudy sky to part of Santa’s beard!

    I guess I’ll say it part of the misty cloud of a dream?

  26. Um, this is kinda hard. I’m guessing a cloud and the sky. Now, how is it positioned? dunno. The rest could be anything really.

  33. I’m going to go with the different answer and say it’s a portion of skin highlighted with a glow of moon or sun. Very bright.

  41. OK…this is me just going out on a limb, but I am going to guess this is a piece of the soft blue t-shirt the hero wears.

    I said it was out there, I know most of the Hunters wear black but this one is no ordinary Hunter.

    Am I right?

  46. Ok, I’m going to guess it’s the bottom portion of the book where you name is displayed. I don’t know what you would call it. Similar to Veil of Shadows and Hunting the Hunted where the scalloped portion is. Ok, now I’m rambling. 🙂

  56. To clarify from my post at 9:32 because it sounded more vague than I meant it to be: on the upper right is the right curve of a jawline and at the top right of the pic is the very right edge of a mouth. 🙂

    My guess is that it’s the water/mist at the bottom of a waterfall.
    BTW, when I clicked to see it bigger on my iPhone, initially it showed up smaller than the end of a pencil eraser – teensy! I was able to stretch it to almost an inch, but honey, *that* didn’t help much! LOL!

  63. I think it is the bubbles at the bottom of waterfall. The dark blue corner is where the clear water starts. Wow it is really hard to see.

  64. I would have to guess mist from a waterfall also.
    Looking at the second picture it looks like waters edge and part of a rocky shore.
