Your weekend read?

So…what’s your weekend read going to be?

I’ve got the audiobook for THE LAST SPYMASTER and I’m enjoying.  I might start the first Jack Reacher book~(Lee Child).  I haven’t read him yet, but I sort of on a straight thriller-type story right now.

I want a really good, spooky romantic suspense, but nothing is catching my eye.  The best spooky-ish type romance I’ve ever read was Holly Lisle’s I SEE YOU, and nothing has seemed to come close since then.

Sweeter than Sin released on Tuesday and so far, people seem to have enjoyed it.  In news that delights me, the vast majority of people have seen the one big twist coming.  I love it when I do that.

STSquote

A quick snippet…
“I was down at the river. In the woods. That was always…”
“You always went there.” Adam brushed his thumb over her lips again. “I guess he still remembers that.”
“Yeah.” She reached up and touched her fingers to his lips. “Kind of funny. You do, too.”
He kissed her fingers and closed his hand around her wrist, his eyes dark and intense on her face. “I remember all kinds of things about you.”
Her heart banged hard against her ribs. That look. The way he watched her. She swallowed, closing her eyes as she tucked her head back against his chest, the cadence of his heart oddly soothing. The scent of him flooded her head and some of the coldness inside her eased back. She felt surrounded by him. Warmed by him. And for the first time in forever, she didn’t feel alone.

  1. I am not a reviewer or anything but I got an ARC of one of my most anticipated books for the year! I may lock myself in my bedroom tomorrow and read all day!

  2. You’ve got SPAM in your comments, but he thinks you’re a great author. 🙂

Just finished Anne Stuart’s Never Marry a Viscount this morning. About to start on The Butler’s Guide by Stanley Ager and Fiona St. Aubyn (thinking about writing a story about Dredmore’s man Winslow.)
