Again, let me tell you that I’m sorry.
Before I start sounding like a broken record…
Let me post this live footage of me on release day. You’re the first to see it.
Yep. They’re never gonna forget that dismount.
Anyway… the issue is now fixed. I know how to get it corrected on Amazon if the file didn’t automatically update.
For Amazon
- You will need to be signed in and make sure you know which device you want the book sent to. You can find that here (once you’re logged in.) This link takes you to Amazon’s digital console. You can find which devices Kindle is installed on-it looks like the most recent is on top from what I’ve checked.
- Once you know which device you want the book sent to, get the order number. You can find that under digital orders. This link should get you there.
- Now… the rest are from my posts on bsky. If your file didn’t update, go here. www.amazon.com/message-us
- In the box, type in *TALK TO AN ASSOCIATE* (this will bypass the chatbots.)
- Once an associate is in the chat, tell them the book was incomplete & the corrected version has been uploaded. Can the associate please push the updated file thru to your library? I had it done & the file is a-ok!
For Kobo
I’m not sure of the process here, but you can contact customer service here. Scroll to the bottom.
For Play Bookstore
Go to the book’s page and click on the ? icon near the top of the page.
For BN
The Help page is here. Make sure you get the order number, available in your account details.
iBooks/Apple Books
This one, I’m having a harder time with. I don’t buy many books from the Apple bookstore, but I found this link.
If there are any other platforms…
Or if you have no luck with the platform you purchased from, drop a comment or feel free to email me at shilohwalker@gmail.com. Please include the platform you purchased from and the email address associated with that account. I’ll forward to my distributor and see if they can reach out to their contacts.
Thank you, again, for your patience and understanding.
